This poem really spoke to me when I read it not five minutes ago...
"Dear Lord/Lest I continue/My complacent way/Help me to remember/Somehow out there/A man died for me today/As long as there be a war/I then must/Ask and Answer/Am I worth dying for?"
~Anonymous.
This poem was kept in the pocket of Eleanor Roosevelt during World War II. What a great woman.

P.S. Are you worth it?
